Older bios feeling neglected-ideas?
We have 3 bios, 2 oldest girls are 20 and 18, both at home. This past week our oldest was using a hi-lighting kit at home. I helped her get it ready, then she went to apply it. I asked her if she didn't want hi-lights all the way up a strand of hair. She said she hadn't known it was not on the right way. I told her I would've helped if she'd waited until I had free time. She looked sad and said "when? in a few years?" I am quite busy with our little ones, but my husband is good about giving me a break to do things with our kids, also. How do others handle this? She has a job, boyfriend, so not like she needs me all the time. sometimes I do feel guilty about how much time is spent on fostering, appointments, court, caring for the foster kids, but our whole family made the choice to foster. We are trying to adopt two we have now....but will it hurt our bios, or was she just having a bad moment? she usually plays with and helps do for our kiddos, but I can't help but think it was from pent up hurt or something.we do try to have 1 on 1 time with each kid. Thanks so much
